juz came back... back from wherever i was... (sorry jen...).
had quite a break... lotsa things happen'd... well anyway... during these few weeks... i observe something different in the traffic... there's a lot of people not rushing to go back... lotsa cars on the road... and the issue of AF's gettin less conversed ('cept for mawi). well in te issue of mawi... (actually i'm not the rite person to discussed about this... i only watched him once... it's the final.. or maybe the semi final... i don't care... anyway... he's been quite an issue after the AF fever... i wonder why...? then i did some research... about his background... about the tabloid saying... about the fanclub... almost everything...
i could say that the crowd worship him like god... c'mon... what's the big issue here... well maybe coz the kindness he show'd... or maybe the style... or maybe the religious aspect... well lets just touch a little bit on the religous aspect... if he's sermonin thru his song/performance i guess that when he admit that he miss'd maghrib prayer over a song should be okay since he could always qada later on... i'm not trying to provoke anything... i just don't understand... why that when someone's famous... the crowd will always follow... i never blamed him to be famous nor jealous... i'm proud of whatever he achieved... (he's gonna be a millionaire by mid of next year... or maybe earlier). proud of him... proud of what he achieved... but to be honest... i'll never vote/sms... it's just a waste of $$$... serious... if i were to give him $$, i'll just give him money instead of sms... well the sms company is making millions while he just get the portions of it.... 12 millions to be exact and that was just for the final round...
in the end we'll become what others want us to be... think about it for awhile... well stop and think coz lotsa people might deny it but the real fact...
i'm proud of who i am... i'm proud of where i came from... i'm proud of my ancestor... (though we all came from the same root... adam and eve). i'm proud to say that i'm a mixture of javanese and ceylonese... in the eye of god... we're all human... it doesn't matter we're rich, poor, javanese, chinese, indian, etc... we're the same... breathing the same air... standing on the same ground... same earth... same soil... so why the difference? why must there be nations... why must there be differences? nuff bout that...
well... back to mawi... what is it with him that everybody worshipp'd... his intention's good... to help his family out of poverty... help others to be kind to each others... sometimes i just wonder... what would happen if there're no tv's in the world... no radio's... what if thomas edison didn't invent he light bulb... what if michael faraday didn't found how to generate letricity... what if ben franklin didn't play the kite he supposed to pley when he stumbled upon electricity... are we still gonna be in the dark ages then...? do we depend on them to make our lives like what we have nowadays... if we still depends on other people to make any progress on our lives... if we still depends on those people to have the things that we have now... then we'll never escalate... we'll never be able to do anything... so start initiating from ourselves... be independent... don't expect others to do things for you... that's where the concept of DIY invented...
to be honest, we all live depending on each other... let's connect the dots... let's start with the simplest thing in life...
EAT... (yeah everyone's favourite subject)
if the fishermen didn't went to the sea...
there'll be no fish to eat...
there'll be no income for the fishermen...
there'll be no fish monger...
there'll be no raw fish to make tuna sandwich...
there'll be no businessmen buying and selling fish...
there'll be no sushi...
there'll be no salted fish...
then what... ? we don't eat...?
well... that's just one example...
what about cars, phones, building materials, computers, (heck i won't be typing this and you guyz won't be reading this...) and a lot of other things to think of...
independence day reminded me of those things... if we don't start to be independent ourselves what will become of the human kind...? what will happen in the future...? nothing.... static... thinking of all these things makes me feel helpless.....
